Can a family live with dignity? National cohesion above region and party, justice within reach of every citizen, a public service that works, a health system that works when it is needed, and communities upgraded in place.
Can a family earn a living? Agriculture financed across the whole value chain, territorial waters reclaimed for our fishers, mining that transfers skills and local content, financing for small business, power for industry, and corridors that connect farms and mines to markets.
Can a family afford to live? Food produced and moved better, money defended honestly, a lifeline electricity tariff, cheaper transport, incremental housing finance, and a health equity fund for the poorest citizens.
For more than two decades, I have worked inside Sierra Leone's development system — not observing it from a podium, but building it from within: designing the grants that reached local councils, coordinating the programmes that put feeder roads through fifteen districts, and helping smallholder farmers turn their harvests into income. I have seen, up close, what good implementation looks like, and what happens when it is missing.
